CertaPro Painters® of Central Washington Offers Cabinet Painting and Refinishing Services

At CertaPro Painters® of Central Washington, we believe our customers should love the home they live in because that’s where life happens. This especially true for the kitchen – one of the most used rooms in a home and a place where family and friends gather to eat good food, laugh, and create lasting memories.

As the years move forward, kitchens end up needing a refresh, especially the cabinets. It’s one of the most touched pieces in the house. This means they end up having a lot of wear and tear.

If the kitchen is sunny, cabinets can start to fade leaving it look less than desirable.

That’s why many people choose to have their kitchen (and bathroom) cabinets re-painted or refinished every few years. The following are some examples of kitchen cabinet painting projects we’ve completed in Yakima and the surrounding area:

Painting or Refinishing Cabinets vs. Replacing Cabinets

Many of our customers tell us that they heard from other contractors that they would be better off going with brand new cabinets rather than having existing ones painted or refinished. The reasons those contractors give are that the paint or stain won’t look good and won’t last very long. Unfortunately, this is misinformation.

Cabinets can look good as long as a professional painter paints or stains them. Painting/Staining cabinets is a multi-step process and it can’t be rushed. The type of paint used is also important to make the results look good and last a long time.

We would not be offering cabinet painting and refinishing if the results did not turn out well. It wouldn’t be good for our business.

Also, contractors want people to replace their cabinets because the cost of replacing cabinets can be $30,000 while the cost of painting or refinishing cabinets is about 5K depending on the size of the kitchen.
